Aloha, E komo mai to my All Star Bowl for Kid's Sake page! I am joining Big Brothers Big Sisters team and fundraising to help support and provide brighter futures for Hawai'i's youth. Every child has potential, and deserves to experience their full potential, while experiencing opportunities that will positively impact their future endeavors. Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawai’i (BBBSH) serves children across the entire state, fostering meaningful, 1-to-1 mentoring friendships for the most vulnerable children in our community. I joined the BBBSH team and am currently fundraising on their behalf because I see on a daily basis the positive impact a mentor makes on the life of a child! Our programs work – over 90% of mentored youth showed academic, behavioral, and/or emotional improvements in 2017, which led to better grades, stronger relationships, more self-confidence as well as less instances of acting out, skipping school, and abusing drugs and alcohol.
