The Fundraising Page of Kendra Chong

Aloha and thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Our mission at Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii is, "To provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported, 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever." As a former Big Sister I have been able to experience this firsthand and I believe that my relationship with my Little Brother is evident to this. 4 years ago, I met this shy, little boy who was very to himself and often exercised his 'right to pass'. I had the privilege of getting to know him and being able to see him grow into the confident, young man he is today. He is now off to middle school, excelling in his academics and sports, and even stands taller than me now! Pictured above is my [not so] Little Brother, Dillon. I'd like to think I've had a positive impact on his life... but I have no doubt that he's had a great impact on mine. None of this would have been possible without the thriving mentoring programs at Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii. I humbly ask you to join me in supporting our keiki in need.
