Aloha Everyone, It's that time of the year again! Big Brothers Big Sisters' Annual Bowl For Kids Sake biggest Fundraiser and we're taking it back to the 80's. Yeee heee! Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii changes lives- one friendship at a time. We are a one-to-one mentoring program who help support Hawaii's youth in reaching their full potential by matching them with caring adult volunteers. Mentoring gives youth the inspiration and confidence needed to achieve their dreams, provides parents with a network of support, and offers volunteers the opportunity to make a big difference in someone else's life, just by having fun! The youth we serve are ages 6-18 years old who come from single parent homes, deployed, foster, incarcerated parents, youth who are facing adversity, and who are or have experienced trauma. I have witnessed and learned so much from the youth and families I directly work with as their case manager. It has made me all the more passionate about helping Hawaii's youth reach their full potential and how possible that is by just that one friendship that Big Brothers Big Sisters creates.
